Parental Guide

To ensure a safe and conducive teaching and learning environment, the school, through this document, provides guidelines for conduct regarding interactions between parents, guardians, and visitors with the school. This is only a guide and, as such, does not cover all possible scenarios. The school expects parents, guardians, and visitors to comply with the following:
- Demonstrate respect for the school’s values and policies, such as our school fee payment policy.
- Our fees are annual, and for those paying monthly, please note that payment for the previous month must be made before the end of the first week of the current month. Otherwise, the student will not be permitted to enter the school until payment is made.
- Understand that teachers and parents need to work together for the benefit of your children, refraining from making defamatory, offensive, or derogatory comments about the school or any student/parent/staff member/school authorities on social media or other websites.
- Demonstrate that all members of the school community should be treated with respect and, therefore, set a good example through your own speech and behavior, refraining from using profanity, abusive language, or inflammatory actions in personal interactions.
- Seek to clarify your child’s version of events with the school’s perspective in order to reach a peaceful resolution to any problem.
- Approach the school to help resolve any concerning issues using the appropriate communication channel and, therefore, refrain from sending abusive or threatening emails, text messages, voicemails, phone calls, or other written communications (including social media) to any member of the school community.
- Bring to the attention of school authorities any problem or condition that affects your child or other children in the school community and should not use social media as a means to express any concerns or complaints.
- Ensure that your child attends school every day and promptly communicate and explain any absences to the school.
- Provide your child with the necessary resources to complete schoolwork and homework.
- Discuss report cards and assignments.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings for effective consultation on your children’s learning progress and remember that each of our voices is important for all our children.
- Keep your contact details and information related to your children updated.
